Meet with others whose family member is experiencing dementia or Alzheimer’s. This support group is led by Chaplain Carole and Max Schut, social worker, in partnership with Alzheimer’s & Dementia Services of Northern Indiana. Meets Thursdays.
Family Caregivers Circle of Support Group- This FREE monthly group offers support, dialogue, connections with local resources, as well as educational opportunities around caregiving and self-care.The focus is on caring for parents with Alzheimer’s or other related dementia and learning how to cope with the depression, anxiety, and stress that is usually experienced. The Alzheimer’s of Central Alabama group meets the second and fourth Tuesday of each month, at Alzheimer’s of Central Alabama’s office, 300 Office Park Drive, Suite 225, 11:00am. Call Miller Piggott, 205-871-7970.
