This group is open to the public and welcomes new members, whether they are caregivers, family members or friends of someone with Alzheimer’s or a related dementia. It is facilitated by the Alzheimer’s Association – Maine Chapter.
Meet with others whose family member is experiencing dementia or Alzheimer’s. This support group is led by Chaplain Carole and Max Schut, social worker, in partnership with Alzheimer’s & Dementia Services of Northern Indiana. Meets Thursdays.
Our support group meetings are a chance for everyone to share their experiences and express concerns. It also gives a chance to share ideas that have worked for other caregivers going through the same experience. Meetings are informal. You are welcome to bring your loved one with FTD, Arden Courts will provide respite care in a separate room. Please just let us know in advance if your loved one will attend.
Meetings are the third Sunday of every month.
The Alzheimer’s of Central Alabama group meets the second and fourth Tuesday of each month, at Alzheimer’s of Central Alabama’s office, 300 Office Park Drive, Suite 225, 11:00am. Call Miller Piggott, 205-871-7970.
Alzheimer’s Caregiver Support Group is held every Tuesday from 10am-12pm, at the Alzheimer’s Care Resource Center in Lake Worth/West Palm Beach. Call 561-588-4545 for more information!
