Free respite care is available upon request. Information and education about Alzheimer’s disease and related memory disorders is shared. The caregiver support group is open to the public and provides information and a welcoming environment for discussing the challenges of being a caregiver in the community. Each session begins with a light meal and fellowship at 5:00 p.m. The meetings are topic focused with a guest speaker and include time for sharing in the group.

This group is open to the public and welcomes new members, whether they are caregivers, family members or friends of someone with Alzheimer’s or a related dementia. It is facilitated by the Alzheimer’s Association – Maine Chapter.
